Client Relations Developer
Project Overview

During this project, the Rizer will be in charge of gauging potential client interest from a list of contacts and will work closely with the sales team to communicate leads. They will also develop valuable relationships with the H A Stiles team, receiving guidance and mentorship. The Rizer will be given a spreadsheet of past contacts and tasked with conducting research to gauge company status, update contact information, address, as well as explore their web presence in order to create a more accurate database for the sales team. This will be followed up by calling clients and identifying whether they are a hot lead, should be followed up with an email, or no longer viable to the company. After the names and list is updated, the information will be given to the sales team on a weekly basis. The Rizer will gain great sales and invaluable business experience that will help them as they grow professionally. The Rizer will make their way through the spreadsheet of contacts at a reasonable pace. This project has the opportunity to be an ongoing engagement.
Ideal Student
The ideal Rizer has strong organization and communication skills and is familiar with Microsoft Excel. The Rizer is outgoing, confident, and will represent H A Stiles well over the phone. The Rizer will ideally be looking to build their customer relations skills, sales skills, and their ability to effectively communicate with a team. The Rizer is open to constructive criticism and looks to learn from the H A Stiles team. The Rizer should be able to work autonomously, but is not afraid to ask questions or for help.
Outcomes
The goal at the end of the 4 weeks will be to have contacted and updated around 500 names on the client list. The Rizer is expected to work 10 hours a week, contacting clients at an efficient pace. Contacting 500 clients is an estimate and can be adapted. The Rizer has the opportunity to build cold calling skills, customer relations skills, and network with clients and the H A Stiles team.
Timeline Detail
4 Weeks. 10 hours a week, 2 hours a day + 1 hour of team training and onboarding. The Rizer will be able to work on their own time (within business hours), when most convenient for them.
