Project Overview

During this project, the Rizer will be responsible for designing and creating collateral for two small New Orleans businesses.
- Betty’s Quality Health Care
- Design a business card and a physical flyer with consistent branding and tones
- Create Google and Facebook advertisements
- Tip Top Snowballs
- Create two physical flyers to be handed out/posted in the business’s area
- Update Facebook and Google to reflect new offerings. Promote digital flyers and posts on Facebook
*Note: This project will be managed by Rize. The Rizer will meet with both clients, but report to their Rize Project Manager with any questions, progress reports, and feedback.
Ideal Student
The ideal Rizer is ambitious, proactive, and has design/content creation experience. The Rizer understands how to promote the businesses via online advertisements and engagement. The Rizer is a creative problem solver and will bring cost-effective new ideas to the table to help increase sales at both companies. The Rizer must be open to learning and receiving feedback and has strong communication skills.
Outcomes
The Rizer will help boost the sales and engagement levels for both Tip Top Snowballs and Betty’s Quality Health Care. The Rizer will develop their advertising and design skills. The Rizer will work closely with their Rize project manager to improve their skills and leave having directly contributed to small businesses.
Timeline Detail
10-12 hours a week (First two weeks before starting project: onboarding, creating a budget plan and learning, then start project) Week 1: Onboarding, meeting with the clients and project manager, finalizing plans and goals for the project. Document initial starting point for KPIs. Rizer creates a budget proposal for how much they anticipate spending. Week 2: First draft of printed designs. Begin creating content for advertisements. Update any available content for each business. Week 3: Approve and send business cards and flyers for printing. Schedule advertisements. Week 4: Continue creating advertisements and posts. Midway check-in on KPIs. Week 5: Continue creating advertisements and promoting posts. Week 6: Final meeting with clients and Rize manager to formally present work and progress made on KPIs.
