Social Media Manager
Project Overview

During this project, the Rizer is responsible for managing, growing, and developing MXOtech’s social media accounts. The Rizer will create a steady online presence, posting 2-3 times a week, maintaining a consistent tone throughout Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin. Posts are expected to have eye-catching captions and include necessary hashtags to improve maximum reach. The use of content calendars and posting schedules is encouraged and recommended.
The Rizer will work with the marketing manager to keep social media accounts up-to-date and active with company news in order to generate leads and reach the target customer base. The Rizer is expected to engage with relevant industry content, clients, and businesses throughout all platforms. MXOtech prides itself on empowering women in technology and wants to continue spreading its culture and mission to other women-owned businesses. If successful, there is potential for a long-term engagement with a wider marketing responsibility.
Ideal Student
The ideal Rizer is ambitious and passionate about the company’s mission. The Rizer has some background/interest in technology, or will work to learn, in order to properly convey industry language and details. The Rizer is familiar with social media posting and understands the importance of engagement. The Rizer is creative and eager to engage marketing in unique ways. The Rizer works well independently and in a team environment. The Rizer is passionate about women-owned and diverse companies and seeks to join a positive and motivating environment.
Outcomes
The Rizer will have the opportunity to work with a woman-owned company in IT and help to spread the company mission. The Rizer will get to work closely with the marketing manager, owner, and learn about the industry. If successful, this will be an ongoing engagement. MXOtech will increase social media engagement, outreach, and visibility.
Timeline Detail
