Project Overview

During this project, the Rizer will partner with Sweet Fortuna Snacks, a New Orleans-based food and drink brand to expand their product offerings and reach new customers. The Rizer will be tasked with conducting market research to identify, evaluate and reach out to potential food retailers and manufacturers who can help Sweet Fortuna Snacks bring their products to market.

Ideal Student

The Ideal Rizer should be highly organized and have some previous experience doing market research and outreach. The Rizer should be able to work independently and with a team. The Rizer has strong customer relationship abilities and can identify, build, and manage relationships with key accounts. Lastly, the ideal Rizer is a go-getter with a knack for helping businesses expand to larger markets. 

Outcomes

  • Expanded network: Outreach to different food retailers that can expand the company’s network and create new opportunities for future partnerships 
  • Improved brand reputation: Increased outreach to help improve the company’s brand reputation and increase credibility in the market 
  • Improved product development: Increased research can inform the company’s product development and ensure that the product meets consumer needs and follows government regulations
